Dear Parents/ Guardians and Students,

Our school is committed to the safety and education of all our students. Essential to this commitment is open communication with parents and guardians about safety issues when they arise. For this reason, I want to let you be aware of the facts surrounding the building evacuation that occurred on Tuesday, 16th October 2018.

The Ministry of Education of Benin performed a routine inspection at the university campus which they demanded for some documents for some of our programs. In this wise, they gave a temporary suspension of academic activity for the affected programs pending verification of the documents to be provided.

The University management has already provided all needed documents as required by the ministry.

In view of the above, it has come to our notice about a rumor going on that Hill City University Benin has been closed down. This is not true. It is the handiwork of our desperate competitors trying to pull down the good image of our esteemed university. Therefore, every rumor in this regard should be ignored.

However, the university counselors will be available if any student or parent/guardian would like to talk to someone about this event.
